Welcome to Scripex, a brand owned and operated by Moonlit Exchange.

Scripex operates an online marketplace that enables users to buy and sell gift cards, vouchers, coupons, and related digital products.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms & Conditions”, or “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of https://scripex.in/ and all services provided through the platform.

By accessing, registering on, purchasing from, selling through, or otherwise using Scripex, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the platform.

1. About Scripex

Scripex is a digital marketplace operated by Moonlit Exchange.

The platform facilitates transactions involving gift cards and vouchers by allowing eligible users to:

  • Purchase available gift cards through Scripex
  • Submit eligible gift cards for sale
  • Receive approved payouts for eligible gift cards
  • Manage orders and transactions through their account

Scripex may act as a marketplace, buyer, seller, intermediary, or service provider depending on the particular transaction and product.

The specific role of Scripex in a transaction may vary depending on the product, seller, supplier, payment method, and applicable arrangement.

2. Eligibility

By using Scripex, you represent that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law.
  • The information provided by you is accurate and complete.
  • You will use the platform only for lawful purposes.
  • You will not use Scripex to conduct fraudulent, unauthorized, illegal, or deceptive transactions.

If you are using Scripex on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

3. Account Registration

Certain features may require you to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your account information updated
  • Keep your password and login credentials secure
  • Not share your account with unauthorized persons
  • Immediately notify Scripex if you suspect unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for activities performed through your account, subject to applicable law

Scripex may suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe that an account has been used fraudulently, unlawfully, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Buying Gift Cards

Scripex may offer gift cards and vouchers from various brands and merchants.

Product listings may contain information such as:

  • Brand name
  • Gift card value
  • Selling price
  • Expiry date, where applicable
  • Usage restrictions
  • Redemption conditions
  • Other applicable terms

Before purchasing, you are responsible for reviewing the available product information and any applicable restrictions.

Availability, price, discount, expiry, and other product information may change without prior notice.

5. Gift Card Redemption

Gift cards are generally subject to the terms, conditions, restrictions, and policies of the original issuing brand or merchant.

Scripex does not control the policies of third-party brands.

You are responsible for checking whether a gift card can be used for your intended purchase, location, product, service, or account.

A gift card may have restrictions including:

  • Expiry dates
  • Geographic limitations
  • Product restrictions
  • Account restrictions
  • Minimum purchase requirements
  • One-time-use restrictions
  • Redemption limitations

Scripex cannot guarantee that a third-party merchant will accept a gift card outside the terms specified by the issuer.

6. Selling Gift Cards

Users may submit eligible gift cards for sale through Scripex.

When submitting a gift card, you confirm that:

  • You have the legal right to sell or transfer the gift card.
  • The gift card was obtained lawfully.
  • The gift card has not been stolen, fraudulently obtained, or unlawfully acquired.
  • The gift card has not already been redeemed.
  • The information provided to Scripex is accurate.
  • You have not previously transferred or sold the same gift card.
  • You will not submit altered, counterfeit, manipulated, or invalid gift card information.

Submitting a gift card does not automatically guarantee acceptance or payment.

Scripex may verify every gift card before approving the transaction.

7. Gift Card Verification

Scripex may verify submitted gift cards before approving a sale.

Verification may include:

  • Checking gift card validity
  • Checking available balance
  • Checking expiry
  • Checking redemption status
  • Checking authenticity
  • Checking transaction history where available
  • Performing fraud and risk checks
  • Contacting the relevant issuer or service provider where reasonably necessary

Scripex may reject a gift card if:

  • It is invalid
  • It has expired
  • It has already been redeemed
  • The balance cannot be verified
  • The card appears fraudulent
  • The card appears stolen or unlawfully obtained
  • The submitted information is incorrect
  • The gift card violates the issuer’s terms
  • The transaction creates an unacceptable risk
  • The card is otherwise ineligible under Scripex’s policies

8. Sale Price and Payout

The amount offered for a gift card may depend on factors including:

  • Gift card brand
  • Face value
  • Current demand
  • Available balance
  • Expiry
  • Market conditions
  • Verification results
  • Applicable fees or discounts
  • Scripex’s current buying rate

The displayed or quoted amount may change before final approval.

A payout will be processed only after the relevant gift card has successfully passed Scripex’s verification and approval process.

Approved payouts may be made through supported methods such as:

  • UPI
  • Bank transfer
  • Other payment methods made available by Scripex

The payout method and processing time may vary depending on the transaction.

9. Payment for Purchases

When purchasing a gift card through Scripex, you agree to pay the total amount displayed at checkout, including any applicable fees, charges, or taxes.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers.

Scripex may not store complete payment-card information where payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider.

A transaction may be cancelled, rejected, or placed on hold if payment is unsuccessful, reversed, disputed, suspicious, or otherwise unauthorized.

10. Orders

An order submitted through Scripex is subject to verification and acceptance.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable
  • A pricing error has occurred
  • Payment has failed
  • Fraud is suspected
  • The transaction violates these Terms
  • The product cannot be supplied
  • Technical errors affect the transaction
  • The transaction creates a legal, security, or operational risk

If an eligible payment has been received for an order that Scripex subsequently cancels, the amount may be refunded through the applicable payment method, subject to applicable law and the relevant refund policy.

11. Refunds and Cancellations

Because gift cards and digital products may be delivered electronically and may be redeemable immediately, purchases may be subject to specific cancellation and refund restrictions.

Once a gift card code or voucher has been delivered, revealed, accessed, or redeemed, cancellation or refund may not be available except where required by applicable law or where Scripex determines that a refund is appropriate.

Refund eligibility may depend on:

  • Whether the gift card was delivered
  • Whether the code was accessed
  • Whether the code was redeemed
  • Whether the product was defective or invalid
  • Whether the issue resulted from Scripex
  • The applicable product-specific policy
  • Applicable law

Any separate Refund Policy published by Scripex forms part of these Terms.

12. Invalid, Fraudulent, or Unauthorized Gift Cards

Scripex has a zero-tolerance approach toward fraudulent or unlawfully obtained gift cards.

If a gift card submitted by a seller is determined or reasonably suspected to be:

  • Stolen
  • Fraudulently obtained
  • Counterfeit
  • Already redeemed
  • Manipulated
  • Unauthorized
  • Associated with suspicious activity

Scripex may:

  • Reject the transaction
  • Cancel the transaction
  • Withhold or reverse a payout where legally permitted
  • Suspend or terminate the seller’s account
  • Restrict future transactions
  • Preserve relevant transaction information
  • Cooperate with payment providers, merchants, law enforcement, regulators, or other authorized parties

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to Scripex under applicable law.

13. Seller Responsibility

Sellers are solely responsible for ensuring that gift cards submitted to Scripex are legitimate and lawfully obtained.

You must not submit gift cards obtained through:

  • Theft
  • Unauthorized access
  • Payment fraud
  • Account compromise
  • Chargeback fraud
  • Phishing
  • Misrepresentation
  • Other unlawful activity

If you submit a fraudulent or unlawfully obtained gift card, you may be responsible for losses, claims, costs, or other consequences arising from the transaction, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Scripex to:

  • Commit fraud

  • Transactions are suspicious or unlawful
  • The account is being abused
  • Required verification has not been completed
  • The user is attempting to circumvent platform controls

Where appropriate and legally required, we may provide information regarding the reason for a restriction.

Termination does not automatically remove obligations that arose before termination.

16. Third-Party Brands

Scripex may list gift cards associated with third-party brands, merchants, retailers, entertainment providers, travel companies, food businesses, or other organizations.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, such brands are independent third parties.

Scripex does not necessarily represent or claim to be affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by every brand whose gift cards appear on the platform.

All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
